Ines Lukac is a trans woman, activist, and master student at Lund University where she is currently doing research on trans sex workers in Sweden. Her fieldwork is based in Stockholm and it reflects on the experiences of trans persons engaged in sex for compensation, demands by the clients who look specifically for trans sex workers, and on developing strategies that can be useful for trans sex workers both in terms of safety and destigmatization of this group in Sweden. If you are interested to contribute with your experience and help her to include more trans voices in the research, please feel free to contact her via firstname.lastname@example.org. Note that the informants’ anonymity and integrity are highly respected and nothing is included in the research report prior to obtaining the consent from the participants.

This is Röda Paraplyet, Swedish for The Red Umbrella. It is a website for men and transgender who sell sex and it focuses on health and sexual health. Even though non-trans women are not the target group per se, there are good and useful information on this site for everyone who sells sex. We have built this webpage in close collaboration with sex workers and the Swedish sex workers organisaton Rose Alliance. The texts has been revieved by sex workers, clinical staff at Venhälsan as well as by Suzann Larsdotter, sexologist.
